The Popcorn Song - Foreclosure Remix

:::Sing to the tune of "The Popcorn Song":::

I looked out the window and what did I see?
3 for sale signs staring back at me.

Why does this come as a big surprise?
Neighbors disappearing right before my eyes

I can take a Valium to ease the pain
Our house value dropping like Seattle rain *

I wish it wasn’t so
But it seems to be

All my neighbors are short-saling on me!

(* I compared our house value to Seattle rain because 1) Seattle rain falls frequently and 2) it rhymed with pain and let’s face it, that was about as creative as I get.)

Bicho loves to be sung to – especially songs that have hand motions to go with them. So the other day when I opened the front window blinds and saw ANOTHER “For Sale” sign up at a neighbor’s home, I thought of this song. Silly, I know – but give me a break, I’m a mom of a 9 month old. The sad part was that I thought this song was actually pretty clever. In fact when I shared the song with my husband, I laughed so hard I snorted. (Yes, I laugh at my own jokes.)

::SIGH::

Please tell me somebody else out there feels my pain. Somebody? Anybody? Pleeeeeease!!

Being at work in a quiet, quiet room, I have to keep the laughing to a minimum. But when something is as deliciously hilarious as this, snorting is what comes out (unfortunately). :)
I LOVE YOUR SONG!!!
